About The Position

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and support manufacturing processes to ensure the successful manufacturing of customized cold plate designs used for high-powered computing and data center integration. Mikros Technologies liquid cooling systems are deployed servers in large AI data centers and help to increase the energy efficiency of these sites. We also make active liquid cooling systems that are utilized in semiconductor test equipment for providing fast thermal control to maintain a constant temperature under a varying heat load. This is an onsite role in Claremont, NH. Relocation assistance available. Competitive salary with bonus opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering subject
  • 5 years of related engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise with mechanical inspection tools
  • Familiarity with machining and brazing as well as processes for effective product Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
  • Creation of shop-floor documentation and work instructions
  • Drafting experience, knowledge of GD&T
  • Familiarity with CMM programming (Zeiss Calypso preferred) and dimensional inspection methods
  • Knowledgeable in CNC processes
  • Understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools (ie. Work measurement, process mapping, facilities, and workstation design, etc.)
  • Automation and PLC experience
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of CAD software such as SolidWorks
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

  • Be on the shop floor daily supporting production activities and solving manufacturing issues in real time.
  • Fixture design for CNC, brazing.
  • Familiarity and experience with GD&T principles.
  • Experience with CMM inspection.
  • Expertise with CNC processes.
  • Design and improve assembly processes, create clear work instructions, and train operators using standardized work principles.
  • Perform High-Level Assembly (HLA) and work confidently with assembly drawings and procedures.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by helping launch new products smoothly into production.
  • Investigate quality issues, perform Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA), and drive permanent fixes.
  • Evaluate products and collect data to support process improvements and engineering decisions.
  • Coordinate line changes and equipment moves, from setup to process readiness.
  • Maintain engineer tools and fixtures, including preventative maintenance and records.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction ideas
  • Work safely and responsibly, following all safety, health, and security policies.
