About The Position

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and implement state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, champion automation and robotics, and optimize production layouts for high-impact aerospace, defense, and high-tech hardware projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or closely related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech hardware environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing tools.
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering V Model, requirements flow down, and V&V processes.
  • Proven ability to influence decisions and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or coursework in Model Based Engineering (MBE) or Systems Engineering.
  • Experience as a technical lead during design reviews or process improvement projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in statistical process control and data analytics integration.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies and equipment.
  • Champion adoption of automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing software to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate quality.
  • Create and analyze 3D model data to optimize digital work instructions and manufacturing workflows.
  • Assess equipment and IoT device performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure operational excellence.
  • Leverage materials and automated process knowledge to define operation procedures and build sequences.
  • Analyze factory data to develop statistical process control and integrate data analytics for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product design teams to optimize manufacturability and influence technical specifications.
  • Take leadership on major projects, driving them to successful completion and engaging with senior personnel on significant matters.
