Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10-15 years of semiconductor manufacturing engineer experience
  • An ability to lead complex projects and develop a strategy for project execution

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain all methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies; lead projects as needed
  • Work with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and new products
  • Manage manufacturing engineering projects, using design for excellence (DFx) principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality; determining time standards; and making recommendations for tooling and process requirements
  • Develop and use test procedures, working with other engineering functions to define test specifications, and to develop or source text fixtures
  • Participate in concept or feasibility studies, gathering test data, evaluating results, and managing corrective actions
  • Evaluate work methods, procedures, and policies, implementing new business processes and efficiency improvement tools
  • Mentor and train lower-level engineers, developing and updating training curriculum
