About The Position
As a Manufacturing Engineering Tech 4 at MKS, you will partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Marketing and Quality to manufacture prototypes and tooling to support current and future MKS products.
Requirements
- 6+ years of related experience required
- Requires machine shop experience
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of higher mathematics involved in the application of engineering principles and the performance of related operations
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program
Nice To Haves
- CNC Programming Experience (MasterCAM or similar)
Responsibilities
- Assignment planning, layout, set-up, operating and making tool adjustments for a variety of major conventional or automatic machines
- Works from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions
- Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances
- May identify and repair minor machine malfunctions
