About The Position

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer leads the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and systems from concept through full production, serving as a technical expert and project lead to improve manufacturability, enhance production capability, ensure operational excellence, and drive cross-functional alignment while mentoring engineering teams and supporting long-term manufacturing strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering in an assembly environment.
  • Demonstrated success developing and optimizing manufacturing systems and processes.
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles, lean methodologies, and process validation.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, quality systems, and safety standards.
  • Proven ability to apply engineering judgment and data-driven analysis to complex production challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a dynamic production environment.
  • Commitment to mentoring, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Must be a U.S. Person.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex manufacturing engineering projects by defining requirements, managing execution, facilitating cross-functional reviews, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, workflows, labor standards, tooling, equipment, and documentation to support efficient, scalable, and high-yield production operations.
  • Collaborate with design engineering to influence new product designs for manufacturability and cost effectiveness and support engineering change evaluations and production readiness.
  • Perform methods analysis, time studies, simulations, and root cause investigations while implementing lean practices, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reliability, and productivity.
  • Mentor engineers, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on cost estimates and resource planning, and contribute to technology road mapping and capital equipment planning.
