About The Position

We are looking for a talented Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing manufacturing initiatives that support operational excellence, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and efficiency across the organization. You will provide hands-on production and shift support to ensure processes run smoothly and challenges are addressed in a timely manner. A key part of this position involves leading root cause analysis for critical issues and ensuring corrective actions are not only implemented but sustained effectively over time. You will also partner with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team to ensure all new equipment designs and implementations meet safety and compliance standards. Additionally, you will track and manage action items to ensure timely completion and resolution, contributing to continuous improvement and long-term operational success.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end execution of assigned manufacturing projects, ensuring all safety, quality, and production requirements are achieved.
  • Apply advanced manufacturing principles to design, optimize, and implement processes that meet business and product goals.
  • Drive continuous enhancements to manufacturing equipment and workflows to elevate efficiency, reliability, and consistency.
  • Utilize continuous improvement methodologies and ensure alignment with Cummins manufacturing standards and operating practices.
  • Lead communication efforts, influencing key business leaders, functional partners, and external stakeholders to support project objectives.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver on specific project assignments and timelines.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge in manufacturing principles as applied within Cummins, helping guide strategic process decisions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and offer coaching to build capability, alignment, and long-term success.
