About The Position

This position is a seasonal summer position based at our Sherman, TX facility. Work directly with the Manufacturing Engineering team to develop standard work instructions, perform time studies, develop operator loading and capacity charts. Assist with various continuous improvement and cost-out initiatives which may include participation in Kaizen or Rapid Improvement Events. Provide support for new product initiatives and production part validations. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a junior or senior pursuing a B.S degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Sherman, TX
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement
• Proficient in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, Microsoft Office Programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Collaborative and team focused

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or previous internship experience
