About The Position

This position is expected to work 20 hours/week, running 1/11 through 4/23. The Engineering Intern assists the Engineering team with production projects and continuous improvement initiatives. The position provides hands-on Engineering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in college or university Engineering Program.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Junior or Senior level, preferred.
• Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering discipline, preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Helps develop, improve and revise manufacturing processes
• Helps design and implement tooling and fixtures for effective manufacturing
• Helps analyze failures and troubleshoots to improve test yields
• Supports purchasing, quality, test, and production departments to ensure product integrity is maintained
• Supports cost justification studies and ROI for capital equipment
• Creating and updating work instructions
• Supports SOW development for equipment implementation and validation
