About The Position

The 2027 Summer Internship Program at The Toro Company (TTC) will run from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be available to start on May 17 and participate through the duration of the program. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Our company designs and manufactures turf maintenance equipment; turf irrigation systems; landscape and lighting products; snow and ice management solutions; agricultural irrigation systems; rental, specialty and underground construction equipment; and residential turf and snow equipment. We market and sell TTC products worldwide through a network of distributors, dealers, mass retailers, hardware retailers, equipment rental center and home centers—as well as online direct to end users.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with an ability to learn and apply new things
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Problem-solving acumen
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize based on due dates or importance

Nice To Haves

• Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), CAD software

Responsibilities

• Plant layout mapping
• Process line balancing
• Electronic and visual work instruction implementation
• Manufacturing tooling database documentation and tooling implementation
• New product release implementation
• Mechatronics, Programming, and AGV Troubleshooting
