About The Position

This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least five days per week. Relocation and housing assistance may be available to those who meet the eligibility criteria. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time. We will consider qualified applicants of all ages who are starting (or restarting) their careers. As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern you are responsible for the actual production of medical and life savings devices. Generally, you would support the daily production of medical devices through engineering investigations of product, process, material, and equipment. These investigations are to help the business achieve its safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. A typical day for an ME is to review previous day’s reports through automated and customized reports, attend daily standups for prioritization, and a balanced workload of hands-on troubleshooting and project planning/execution. Work may include problem solving equipment, generating validation data/reports, project management.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
Graduation date must be between December 2027 - May 2029
Must be able to start internship on May 17th or 24th, 2028 and work for 12 weeks
Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
