The Manufacturing Engineer Intern is responsible for engineering activities in support of medical device manufacturing. This position will support the manufacturing engineering department with development, testing, deployment, logistics, new process/equipment installation and system integration along with Lean Continuous Improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university engineering program with a minimum of 2 years successfully completed
  • Real world experience or college level coursework related to the study of manufacturing, engineering or continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to take ownership of projects and drive tasks to completion
  • Advanced MS Office Skills
  • Capable of evaluating high-level designs and their impact on products
