About The Position

As a Manufacturing Engineer III, you will develop and refine manufacturing methods so products are built safely, to spec, and at the right cost. You’ll improve work cells, create and maintain process documentation, and plan labor, space, workflow, and equipment layouts to drive efficiency. You will partner with planning and design on product design, tooling, and manufacturability, and work with vendors on specifications, purchasing, and quality conformance. You’ll estimate cycle times, staffing needs, and related costs, coordinate with supervisors and other manufacturing engineers on schedules and capacity, and use statistical methods to forecast manufacturing requirements.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • 5–8 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical reading/writing and presentation skills
  • Applied math/statistics, adaptable problem-solving
  • Proficient in MS Office and Solidworks

  • Update routers, work instructions, and other process records
  • Meet with design/planning to close open manufacturability questions
  • Have quick check-ins with production leads to confirm priorities and remove blockers
  • Pull data, run basic statistical checks, and turn findings into clear recommendations
