About The Position

Position Overview: This position exists to execute project management tasks related to capital projects, lean manufacturing projects, and other manufacturing improvement related activities. A significant portion of the job involves the use of the SAP database (Routings and Bills of Material).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical training or degree helpful.
5+ Minimum Years of Experience
Knowledge and competence in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint are highly desirable.
SAP experience is highly desirable.
Strong CNC experience, including knowledge of material removal during the machining process
Strong organizational skills are necessary for this position.

Responsibilities

Works with Business Unit to create project task lists and timelines for multiple projects that help improve Formsprag's ability to satisfy customers
Executes a wide variety of project tasks, commensurate with experience
Tracks progress to schedule and provide feedback on performance.
Helps with identification and selection of equipment to support projects
With input from Production Leaders, analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Uses Lean tools to develop standard work improvements and optimize flow in manufacturing cells.
Facilitate quoting and procurement of project items and services
Compiles and organizes project data such as quotes, expenditures, and service calls
Creates new manufacturing routing sequences, bills of material, and work instructions, etc. for the efficient manufacture of clutch components
Synchronizes mfg. data of legacy products within SAP
Revises Bills of Material (BOMs) in SAP, as necessary
Revises Routing information (Setup/Run Time, etc.) in SAP, as necessary
Revises Material Master information in SAP, as necessary
Creates technical documents to assist with process control and product assembly
Participates in lean manufacturing Kaizen events as appropriate
