In this position, you will be responsible for supporting Production in meeting their Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery goals. The use of Engineering principles and CI tools will be used to develop future state plans, provide capital project proposals and execute the 12-month operating plan. As Manufacturing Engineer, you will also support projects and equipment acquisition. Knowledge of layout planning, work procedures, cost impacts, crewing guidelines, and takt time impact are crucial to successful support. This job is located in Warroad, MN. Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Eagerness to ask questions and talk through details
  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles, procedures, and technology
  • Willingness to learn production processes, limitations, and challenges
  • Ability to participate in cross functional teams
  • B.S. degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Production in meeting their Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery goals.
  • Using Engineering principles and CI tools to develop future state plans.
  • Providing capital project proposals.
  • Executing the 12-month operating plan.
  • Supporting projects and equipment acquisition.
  • Applying knowledge of layout planning, work procedures, cost impacts, crewing guidelines, and takt time impact.
  • Supporting initiatives within a specific Production area.
  • Spending time on the production floor, supporting current challenges while also identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Building strong relationships with production staff, leadership, and other support departments.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams, including some project management, to advance Production capabilities.
