Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Strong electromechanical and wiring knowledge required
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
  • Experience supporting equipment installation, validation, and troubleshooting
  • Strong lean manufacturing background (Kaizen, standard work, waste reduction, etc.)
  • Ability and willingness to travel to partner facilities and current production sites for knowledge transfer
  • Experience preparing manufacturing documentation and training materials

  • Epicor experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the transition of electromechanical product lines from another facility into the Houston site
  • Assist with equipment installation, setup, and readiness for production
  • Lead or support product validation activities to ensure successful launch
  • Prepare and update manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards
  • Provide hands‑on troubleshooting for wiring, assembly, and electromechanical systems
  • Deliver training to production teams on new processes, equipment, and product requirements
  • Participate in knowledge‑transfer visits to current production sites and support launch activities
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve flow, reduce waste, and stabilize processes
  • Maintain active involvement from pre‑launch through post‑launch stabilization to support a seamless production ramp‑up
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners
