This role requires a deep understanding of blueprints, materials, and machining processes to ensure seamless production flow and material availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical blueprints, GD&T, and machining processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems for BOM creation and production scheduling.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and production teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for machined components within the ERP system.
  • Analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately define material requirements and machining operations.
  • Coordinate and schedule machining work orders to optimize department efficiency and meet production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and production teams to ensure accurate materials and process information.
  • Apply knowledge of machining processes and materials to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing workflows.
  • Monitor and update BOMs to reflect engineering changes and process improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on production planning and cost optimization.
