We are seeking a talented and motivated entry level Manufacturing Engineer to join our team to help develop many best-in-class products and solutions. You will aid in the development of those products and solutions in our Missiles and Fire Control business area in Camden, Arkansas. You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for our PAC-3 program. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
  • Knowledge of hand tools and machine tools and the ability to teach others how to use them.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design.
  • Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes.
  • Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, Creo, or SolidWorks.
  • Knowledgeable of engineering materials.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and improving manufacturing procedures and operations.
  • Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
  • Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / SolidWorks.
  • Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.
  • Designing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
