About The Position

Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly and Installation (Senior or Lead Level) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Senior or Lead Level Manufacturing Engineers to support production in Everett, Washington. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with engineering teams and mechanics on the factory floor. Primary Responsibilities: Leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, complex producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies. Refines, validates, coordinates and implements conceptual designs and manages the program architecture for build. Develops manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimization. Conducts complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. Resolves complex technical problems. Serves as a project manager to ensure that contract requirements, specifications, design criteria and schedule performance are integrated and maintained. Leads advanced design solutions and supports research of new product or business opportunities. Deploys company Lean Enterprise analysis methods. Documents and communicates producibility best practices. Provides guidance to others through structured mentoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Experience working in an engineering discipline
  • Experience working in a production and/ or manufacturing environment
  • 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Senior)

Nice To Haves

  • 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Lead)
