About The Position
The Manufacturing Engineer Asc (Level 1) is responsible for developing, improving, and investigating manufacturing processes to eliminate defects and meet production goals. This role is part of the Production Engineering Team, which drives process excellence in Grand Prairie machining operations.
Requirements
- Design and implement process development and improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause and corrective action analysis through investigation of defects.
- Eliminate process waste to increase machining throughput.
- Support a range of equipment and machining processes.
- Interface with program and functional stakeholders to drive production targets.
- Document work instructions and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, a similar field, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of data driven approach to solving problems
- Strong communication skills
