Job Summary & Responsibilities Product Engineer (Mfg) (Levels 1 through 6): Manages new product introduction and production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to in-house or outsourced production. Interfaces with design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing engineering to solve product issues and production problems. Develops and sustains process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering with proven experience in the electro-mechanical or automation industry or MS in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with no experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a high-growth manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ERP software.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial automation components.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement improvements in assembly lines, workflows, and production methods to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, including robotics, PLCs, and tooling.
  • Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), flowcharts, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable (Design for Manufacturability).
  • Analyze production costs, reduce waste (Lean), and implement quality control protocols to meet specifications.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and standards.
  • Design and layout workstations, equipment, and production floors to maximize efficiency.
