About The Position

This role focuses on the development of a centrifugal casting process to replace traditional casting methods. The goal is to eliminate silica exposure, enable single-piece product flow with full traceability, and achieve significant cost savings. The position involves a mix of R&D and execution of Design of Experiments (DOE).

Key activities include preparing and starting up equipment, documenting experimental results and findings, executing daily DOE tasks, and handing off information to the next shift. Collaboration with a team of two agency workers and one FTE is expected, along with weekly update meetings with leadership. The work environment is primarily on the shop floor (75%) and requires specific PPE including metatarsal guard steel-toed boots, foam-sealed safety glasses with a strap, and FR pants and jacket, as well as a bump cap.

Requirements

• 2-4 years industrial experience required
• Bachelor's degree in engineering required
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Enjoys hands on work
• Self Starter

Responsibilities
