About The Position

This role is responsible for keeping complex production lines running safely and efficiently by applying electrical expertise to thermo-formers, trim presses, extruders, crystallizers, and dryers, while meeting rigorous standards for product quality, safety, and legal compliance.

Requirements

3+ years of industrial electrical experience.
Proficiency reading electrical schematics/blueprints and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
Lift/Scissor Truck operation.
Clear, professional communication with managers and peers.

Experience with electrical components on thermo-formers, extruders, crystallizers, and dryers.

Responsibilities

Ensuring safety through Lockout/Tagout, Critical Safety Rules, plant/department protocols, PPE, MSDS procedures, fire system alarms, and proper equipment startup/shutdown.
Completing work orders accurately and on time with clear documentation.
Diagnosing and fixing equipment issues, including finding and resolving root causes.
Repairing and optimizing AC/DC motor controls, single- and 3-phase circuits, electronic drives, and PLC controls.
Installing conduit, machine wiring, and high-horsepower motor installs (up to 600 hp and larger) to specification.
Fabricating and installing custom brackets, electrical boxes, and disconnect mounts cleanly.
Inspecting, testing, cleaning, and replacing brushes on AC/DC motors as needed.
Performing preventive maintenance on thermo-formers, trim presses, extrusion, and support equipment to reduce unplanned downtime.
Training and signing off on teammates to increase their capability.
Performing other duties as assigned.
