Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar engineering program for the duration of the co-op session.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Previous co-op or internship experience in manufacturing environments.
Experience with Root Cause Analysis.
Proficiency in software debugging.
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Support manufacturing test processes, including test equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, unit failure analysis, and test procedure refinement.
Conduct studies focused on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory management, and production record systems.
Review products and processes for quality, safety, and producibility risks, collaborating with design teams to incorporate changes that mitigate these risks.
Manage moderately sized projects or processes effectively.
Independently identify and resolve complex and challenging problems.
Develop tactical plans to address and overcome day-to-day challenges.
Occasionally travel to local regional sites in Iowa as required.
