Manufacturing Driver - 3rd Shift ($25.74/hr. + $1.00 shift differential)
About The Position
We are currently searching for an experienced Manufacturing Driver to be based out of Harvey, IL approximately 30 miles south of Downtown Chicago. The job will be 3rd shift jobs (11pm-7am ), M-F, occasional Saturdays. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for moving and storing large bundles of steel tube in the manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience driving a Forklift and Combi-lift experience moving large loads. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial manufacturing.
- Forklift and Combi-lift (side loader) experience.
- Ability to pass the post offer employment process with drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Lean manufacturing or business system-based company experience is a plus.
- Combi-lift experience moving large loads.
Responsibilities
- Be proficient with sit down forklift and combi-lift (side loader).
- Transport, store and stack all materials in accordance with proper inventory control procedures.
- Operate a handheld scanner and utilize a variety of printed work instructions as part of daily work assignment.
