About The Position

Niagara is seeking Team Members who are passionate about providing customers with high-quality, affordable bottled water. The Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) is a 15-month rotational program designed to provide hands-on experience across various functions and departments in a leading beverage manufacturer. Participants will learn to lead people or processes through practical experience, project work, and professional development. The program includes 9 months of rotations through plant departments such as Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse, with potential rotations in operations, engineering, human resources, or quality assurance based on availability and interest. For the final 6 months, participants will act as a Plant Supervisor to understand the role's scope and importance to plant performance, developing leadership and problem-solving skills for future roles. Responsibilities

  • Rotate through plant departments including Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse, with potential rotations in operations, engineering, human resources, or quality assurance.
  • Work on cost or time-saving projects impactful to the plant and Niagara.
  • Act as a Plant Supervisor for 6 months to understand the role's scope and importance.
  • Engage leadership and problem-solving skills in people and technical issues.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and professional development.
  • Attend formalized professional skills training including Niagara culture, self-awareness, and leadership development.
  • Receive ongoing support from Niagara Bottling’s leadership, MDP alumni, and a dedicated advisor.
  • Participate in Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt training and projects.
  • Lead a shift in a manufacturing environment for 6 months.
  • Travel for a minimum of 3 weeks to other plant locations.
  • Work in all aspects of manufacturing and complete cross-departmental projects.
  • Present experiences and project outcomes to local and regional leadership.
  • Attend department/manager meetings and action plan based on feedback.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
