We’re looking for a skilled Manufacturing Development Engineer II to join our team and help advance our manufacturing capabilities. What You Will Do As a Manufacturing Development Engineer II, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and continuously improving our manufacturing processes, standards, and systems. You’ll support new product development and deployment while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to elevate manufacturing performance while contributing directly to product innovation and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical systems and assemblies
  • Experience evaluating products and optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing or rebuilding manufacturing processes, standards, or operational guidelines
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) certification
  • Product development experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Mechanical Engineering, Product Management, Drafting, Tooling Design, Compliance, Quality, and Production teams to develop manufacturable, high-quality products
  • Design, optimize, and document manufacturing processes and tooling to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality
  • Provide technical leadership and support across departments, incorporating new technologies and best practices into manufacturing operations
  • Partner with Quality teams to ensure products meet internal and regulatory standards, investigating and resolving production issues as needed
  • Develop and support functional prototypes and production samples for testing, validation, and customer approval
  • Perform cost engineering activities, including estimating, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Conduct time studies and capacity analyses to optimize production workflows
  • Support Product Lifecycle Engineering initiatives, including change management, configurable fast tracks, and low-volume production
  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement efforts using lean manufacturing principles and process optimization methodologies
