About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Design Engineer to support manufacturing operations, quality control, CNC programming, process improvement, and equipment procurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- 4+ years of product manufacturing experience
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and drafting procedures
- Strong manufacturing, quality-control, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- CNC machining/programming experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
- Oversee quality inspections and investigate product-quality concerns.
- Create CNC G-code programs.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes.
- Manage engineering changes (ECNs) and corrective actions.
- Review production routings, drawings, job quantities, and manufacturing costs.
- Maintain part numbers, routings, material information, and costs within the ERP system.
- Source materials, equipment, and machinery parts.
- Work with vendors to negotiate pricing, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Recommend new equipment and manufacturing technologies to improve efficiency.
