About The Position
This standard defines the Manufacturing Controls Engineer Job Description for the Clanton plant of Adient. The role involves designing, developing, and supervising electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. It also includes installation and technical support of PLC hardware and software, with programmable knowledge in Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs. The position assists with needs assessment for computer and software requirements, provides PLC and PC training, and designs, codes, tests, and debugs simple programs while maintaining and documenting them. The engineer will assist higher-level programmers/analysts/engineers with design work, follow established methods and procedures, respond to production system disruptions promptly, and help provide solutions to meet user needs.
