About The Position

Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position that is responsible for successfully manufacturing blood and blood components. This is a temporary to permanent position with 40 hours a week, working evenings from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. If you are the type of person that has a passion to help save lives, this could be the perfect job for you!

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Manufacture blood and blood components
• Prepare blood and blood components for labeling
• Label blood and blood components
• Triage whole blood according to inventory needs
• Manufacture apheresis red blood cells
• Perform maintenance of equipment as appropriate
• Maintain cleanliness of the manufacturing lab
• BPS and Reference Lab orders
• Take SOPs as appropriate
