About The Position

The Manufacturing CNC Technician is responsible for performing tool changes and offsets on CNC machines, producing first pieces that meet part print specification requirements. This role requires setting up necessary gaging, work holding, and tooling for each job. The technician will ensure accurate and safe machine operation, test machine operations periodically, train lower-level operators, and resolve issues that arise during the shift. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude required.
Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and be able to stand on your feet for 8-12 hours a day.
Must have knowledge of turning centers and milling machines.
Must have basic G-code programming and editing skills.
Knowledge of general machining processes and ability to read blueprints.
Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve quality and production issues.
Must be comfortable working with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Ability to Train, coordinate, communicate effectively with all departments.
Ability to use hand tools.
Ability to read applicable instructions.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of horizontal machining centers a plus.
