About The Position

The Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician is responsible for calibrating, testing, and shipping Client's Echo systems. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Production Team located in San Jose, CA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to follow established procedures to calibrate, test, and prepare instruments for shipping, provide the first line of troubleshooting for diagnosing problems, and contribute to group problem solving and process improvement activities.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in manufacturing machines/hardware calibration / using the data to calibrate manufacturing equipment
Associate's degree in a technical field (Computer, Engineering or Life Sciences)
Effective and analytical problem-solving skills, including basic understanding of statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests
Proactive profile, asks questions and has initiative
Able to follow verbal and written instructions and ability to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Experience related to using data to calibrate manufacturing equipment
Needs to be able to use data to make decisions based on judgment

Nice To Haves

Prior work experience with calibration, automation, centrifuges, plate readers, etc.
Familiarity with chemistry and liquid handling equipment (Beckman, Agilent, Hamilton)

Responsibilities
