Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering discipline or equivalent working experience
  • Experience with machine vision systems
  • Experience with industrial/mechanical control, PLC process controls, plant electrical systems, equipment instrumentation, variable frequency drives, human/machine interface and equipment operation.
  • Experience with robotics, palletizing and packaging
  • Experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems (preferred)
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with CAD / Modeling Software

Responsibilities

  • Design independently and in collaboration with branches integrated manufacturing solutions for production. These systems may include computer networks, robots, machine tools, high speed production quality control with high-speed camera and material-handling equipment. (40%)
  • Apply working knowledge of manufacturing process to new product design. Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental new product development meetings to ensure the manufacturability of the new product. (30%)
  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify potential improvements. Devise new solutions to existing manufacturing problems. (20%)
  • Develop training instructions and/or conduct initial training of branch employees on operation and maintenance of systems. (10%)
