About The Position

Functions as part of a flexible and versatile group in order to provide work where needed, as needed. This position rotates among jobs on a routine basis.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Know what it takes to have a safe workplace
  • TS-16949 Quality Systems Requirements
  • ISO-14001 Environmental Management Systems
  • Problem Solving
  • Will require operator to obtain forklift certification

Responsibilities

  • Follows safe operating procedures
  • Maintain 7S standards
  • Performs TPM activities as required
  • Review and follows quality, process and operator instructions
  • Perform quality checks as required and accurately records using Plexus or required method.
  • Identifies, contains and generates Discrepant Material Report (DMR) for any non-conforming material and forwards to the Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Communicates with co-workers from the previous and following shifts to discuss problems and concerns
  • Insures operation runs at required production rate. Notifies Team Leader or equivalent when this does not occur
  • Accurately reports production and scrap using Factivity or required method
  • Actively participates in continuous improvement activities
  • Performs data reporting such as production and scrap, using both paper and computerized systems, as required
  • Moves product by using barrels with a barrel cart or totes which may weigh up to 40 pounds
  • May be required to work in a variety of jobs as documented below (MA-III positions).
  • Complete other tasks within job classification as assigned
  • Assists other employees as directed by the Team Leader and / or Supervisor
