About The Position
D&W Diesel is looking for dependable people with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn to join their team as Manufacturing Associates. No prior manufacturing experience is required, as the company provides training for individuals with experience in hands-on fields such as food service, construction, landscaping, warehousing, or automotive. The role involves working with your hands, solving problems, and contributing to a team that builds quality products.
Requirements
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to safety and producing quality work.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Teardown and assemble products according to work instructions and quality standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions and production documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
- Work as part of a manufacturing cell to meet daily production goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
