About The Position

Anchor Manufacturing Group, Inc., a leader in providing exceptional quality stampings and welded assemblies since 1970, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for their 2nd shift. With extensive manufacturing space and a dedicated tool and die business, Anchor serves diverse industries, with a significant focus on the automotive sector. They specialize in small to large metal stampings and complex welded assemblies for various components, including appearance trim, structural parts, and safety-related items, supplying to OEMs and Tier I/II manufacturers globally.

Manufacturing experience preferred
Forklift experience a plus

Responsibilities

Comply with all Anchor Principles and Guidelines, as well as Anchor policies and procedures.
Position, align, and secure workpieces against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies. Lubricate workpieces when needed.
Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working.
Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Properly use the ERP System for logging of time, jobs, and quality checks.
Be open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace.
Operate machinery safely, report safety problems immediately, and wear proper PPE.
Use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
Be careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
Work closely and cooperatively with other Managers and Team Leads on day-to-day issues.
