Oetiker is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for their 2nd shift (evenings) to operate and maintain multiple machines according to all job and safety procedures. The role involves ensuring the reliable connection of mission-critical components in the vehicle industry and other high-value applications. Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A minimum of 1 years’ light manufacturing experience required
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Obtains daily jobs from Production Board
- Reads, understands and commits to following all safety procedures when operating the machine
- Completes proper paperwork verifying part numbers and lot numbers
- Completes the Production Downtime Sheets documenting machine issues
- Reads, understands and commits to operating the machine and its functions according to the procedure such as running duds and/or use of gauge
- Keeps machines running with minimal down-time
- Inspects parts through each process to ensure quality
- Enters end of job information into computer daily
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Trains machine operators as needed
