About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate will perform general manufacturing tasks such as, but not limited to, wood door preparation, aluminum frame assembly, painting/finishing hollow metal frames, order picking, sorting and loading of finished product.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
  • Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
  • Ability to read tape measure
  • Ability to safely operate basic hand/power tools
  • Ability to meet production quotas
  • Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates
  • Capable of working in a factory environment
  • Must display strong attention to detail and quality
  • A desire to learn to operate machinery and product assembly

Nice To Haves

  • Current and valid US driver’s license preferred
  • At least 1 year prior experience in a fast paced production/manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform various manufacturing tasks including painting, grinding, and product assembly
  • Ensure products adhere to standards of safety and quality
  • Read Work Orders and Product Templates to establish necessary fabrication to be performed
  • Perform quality control checks and help maintain customer requirements
  • Maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production and additional areas assigned by shop supervisor
  • Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location
  • Package manufactured items and label correctly
  • Scan delivered items and ensure quality
  • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
  • Load/Unload trucks for shipping /delivery to proper location
  • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
