JOB DESCRIPTION: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform various window and door assembly functions from start to finish Advise team members of shortages/quality issues Inspect each phase of assembly to assure quality Review and maintain production lists Identify proper materials Ability to constructively work with others Perform Safety audits Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions Participate in continuous improvement process and other lean initiatives Coach and train new associates Assure conformance with the 5S program Assure compliance with all safety related policies and procedures Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals Serve as a member of the departmental team providing assistance as required

Requirements

  • High School Graduate/GED or prior Eagle Window and Door employment
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to use hand tools and related equipment
  • Oral communication skills
  • Basic team skills
  • Basic organizational skills
  • Ability to operate lift equipment as needed
  • Physical ability to perform job duties
  • Ability to lift and maneuver product. (Some position may require lifting up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to lift and maneuver bulky product
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift product throughout the assembly process
  • Understanding of related safety policies and procedures
