About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate Packaging follows the lead of Packaging Specialists during batch packaging and closing. This role involves inspecting finished products before they are placed into cartons, ensuring quality through in-process checks and documentation in batch records. The associate must notify Quality and Production Supervisors of any product failing to meet specifications. The position requires maintaining a cGMP area, adhering to SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures, and documenting information for compliance. Efficient performance of in-process checks, support during batch opening and closing, and placing/sealing finished products into cartons are key duties. The role also includes supporting engineering studies, weekly/monthly cleans, and adhering to all DEA requirements. Other projects and duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
  • Desire to work in fast paced, heavily regulated environment that requires significant attention to detail; high degree of accuracy and utmost integrity to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products.
  • Willingness to work various shifts in a 24/7 operation.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure effective inspection.
  • Willingness to be proactive; comfortable in raising concerns regarding inspection results.
  • Ability to take specific direction, with no room for error.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and collaborate effectively across teams, functions and shifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
