Manufacturing Associate Packaging (2nd shift, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.)
About The Position
This role involves following the lead of Packaging Specialists during batch packaging and closing. The associate will inspect finished products before cartoning, check product quality through in-process checks, and document findings in batch records. They will also notify Quality and Production Supervisors of any product that fails to meet specifications. The position requires maintaining a cGMP area, adhering to SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures, and documenting all required information for compliance. The associate will perform in-process checks, support packaging operators, place and seal finished products into cartons, and assist with daily and weekly cleans. Adherence to all DEA requirements is crucial for regulatory compliance. Other projects and duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
- Desire to work in fast paced, heavily regulated environment that requires significant attention to detail; high degree of accuracy and utmost integrity to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products.
- Willingness to work various shifts in a 24/7 operation.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure effective inspection.
- Willingness to be proactive; comfortable in raising concerns regarding inspection results.
- Ability to take specific direction, with no room for error.
- Ability to work in a team environment, and collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
