Manufacturing Associate II, APOC (Shipping)
About The Position
The Shipping Associate II will serve as a point of contact for instructing new, temporary, and full-time staff members on general questions and job methods. This role is a key communicator, sharing information between team members, senior manufacturing associates, supervisors, and upper management within the department. The Shipping Associate II is responsible for ensuring their designated areas are organized with essential supplies and that all workstations are fully functional. During non-peak periods, this role functions as a shipping specialist, performing tasks such as sorting, matching, packing, and shipping orders.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
- 3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of production processes.
- Demonstrated ability to instruct and mentor new, temporary, and full-time staff, with a focus on imparting essential skills and knowledge.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and upper management.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain efficiency in designated work areas.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
- General mathematical ability
- Basic windows-based computer skills

Responsibilities
- Instruct and support new, temporary, and full-time staff members.
- Assist with tracking orders to ensure timely service for our customers.
- Keep the supervisor updated on the workflow status throughout the shift.
- Provide honest feedback on the performance of team members to the supervisor.
- Report any personnel conflicts or issues to the supervisor.
- Foster positive and cooperative relationships among team members.
- Manage inventory by filling and requesting supplies for the department or assigned area.
- Ensure that the staff cleans and sanitizes the area at the end of each shift, following PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines.
- Emphasize the importance of attendance and punctuality, setting an example for others as a Manufacturing Associate II.
