About The Position

As a Manufacturing Associate I at Lonza’s Portsmouth, New Hampshire site, you will support production of therapeutic proteins. You will work with a team to operate equipment, follow procedures, and help ensure products are manufactured safely and to high quality standards. The position is onsite. The schedule is a 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating schedule: two days on, two off, three on, two off, two on, three off, repeating.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow procedures in a regulated environment.
Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
GMP experience.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, including CIP and SIP processes.
Execute manufacturing processes by following SOPs and good documentation practices.
Perform laboratory tasks such as pH testing, conductivity testing, and product sampling.
Move and transfer materials safely and accurately across production areas.
Maintain equipment and facilities through routine cleaning and sanitization.
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and support documentation review.
Participate in shift handovers, meetings, and continuous improvement activities.
