As a Warehouse Certifier, you will contribute to the success of our facility by coordinating the day-to-day warehouse processes to facilitate the picking and loading processes and shipping operations, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy. Our Warehouse Certifiers also play an integral role in training and coaching the frontline staff during the inbound and outbound loading processes to ensure safety and productivity targets are maintained.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • 3+ years of experience working in Supply Chain or Warehousing or Manufacturing required
  • 2+ years Leadership experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment
  • Experience working a flexible schedule including afternoons, late nights and/or weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • SAP or Voice to Pick Software preferred
  • Union experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records of certified loads transported out of the facility for DSD delivery
  • Provide coaching and counseling to Pickers on Pallet build practices.
  • Floor lead when warehouse supervisor is not on- site
  • Provide feedback to Product Availability Supervisor (Whse Supervisor) on workflow, loading issues and developmental opportunities of picker and loaders
  • Track each load accurately
  • Palletize Geobox trucks when loading
  • Load full service trucks
  • EIOS tasks
  • Accurately count all pallets
  • Maintain pace of pallet configuration
  • Ensure that inline adjustments are made and used for all pallets
  • Identify priorities and coordinate resources
  • Assess and enhance the skill set of pickers
  • Recommend process improvements!
  • Coordinate picker and loader team
  • Ensure stability of all loaded pallets by proper use of load straps
  • Embrace and promote a culture of “stack, wrap, strap”!
  • Check in Geobox and full service trucks when returning from routes.
  • Other duties as Assigned- PQI
