In this role, you will support production processes by following written instructions, maintaining a safe, clean work area, and operating a variety of tools and equipment to produce high‑quality parts. You may be responsible for operating production tools and equipment, such as grinders, gas torches, hot plates, irons, hand gauges, and special‑purpose machines (for example: shot peen, seam welders, cut‑off saws, wax injection equipment). You will adjust machine and equipment controls to maintain proper settings, and change worn cutting tools using hand tools (such as wrenches). You will work with metal components, including trimming, cutting, polishing, and deburring material to meet specifications. You will move materials and parts using a forklift and/or tugger, and support material flow in areas such as shipping and receiving. You will transfer between different machines, equipment, and work areas as production needs change, and perform miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisory personnel. You will also assist in other areas as needed and directed by People Leader.
