Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and a High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of core job functions, along with a developing understanding of more detailed aspects of the role.
  • Utilize knowledge of company policies, procedures, and job responsibilities to complete semi-routine tasks effectively.
  • Follow established processes for routine assignments and seek guidance when handling new or unfamiliar tasks.
  • Perform duties under close supervision while building proficiency in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on assembly and fabrication of prototypes, engineering builds, and clinical builds that often deviate from standard manufacturing processes.
  • Interpret and execute complex, non-standard work instructions, technical drawings, and build documentation with high accuracy.
  • Collaborate with R&D engineers and operations support teams to support product development, process refinement, and design iterations.
  • Document build activities, deviations, and observations clearly to support traceability and feedback loops.
  • Operate lab-scale and pilot production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and functional tests to validate prototype performance.
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for new processes and materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace aligned with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to support evolving R&D priorities.
