Requirements

  • Experience operating machinery and using computers.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the responsibilities of the role.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Ability to follow procedures, prioritize quality, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Capable of performing the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and a High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on assembly and fabrication of prototypes, engineering builds, and clinical builds in a dynamic R&D manufacturing environment.
  • Follow and execute complex work instructions, technical drawings, and build documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and cross-functional teams to support product development, design iterations, and process improvements.
  • Document build activities, observations, and deviations to ensure traceability and provide valuable feedback for product and process development.
  • Operate laboratory and pilot-scale manufacturing equipment while adhering to established safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and functional testing to evaluate prototype performance and identify potential issues.
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives related to new products, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Work across multiple workstations and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace while following all applicable procedures and standard operating practices.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering and operations teams and contribute to the successful transition of innovative concepts into functional products.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support evolving R&D and business objectives.
