Under close supervision, this role is responsible for the operation of deburring machinery and material handling. The individual must meet Bobrick standards of safety, product quality, productivity, and policies, and continuously upgrade their job skills in keeping with changing technology. This position involves understanding and applying the Four Level Defect Grading System, monitoring and verifying work quality and quantity, and maintaining the production process. The trainee will perform part deburring utilizing automated equipment and assist with material handling operations. They will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing pre-use equipment inspections, and stacking completed products. Proficiency in support side presses and fladder, as well as the ability to operate 221 cell press, welder, and cartoner machines, will be developed. To advance, the operator must achieve 90% or higher efficiency.
