About The Position

Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world. We are looking for talented technicians to help full-scale production of the Kuiper satellites. Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly, or related production environment
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in creating process improvement procedures
  • Experience creating process documentation
  • Experience providing training and mentorship
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement principles & techniques

Responsibilities

  • Perform intermediate-level battery build, assembly, and test operations across assigned PODs.
  • Follow work instructions and safety procedures accurately and consistently.
  • Perform assembly of battery build and subassembly. Also assist with ATP.
  • Identify, document, and escalate quality issues, defects, or MRB.
  • Communicate effectively across shifts and with Engineering, Quality, and Supervisory teams.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory.
  • Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
  • Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc).
  • Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
  • Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
