About The Position

RenewAire is seeking a Residential Technician to assemble residential ERV units. This role is crucial for building quality products, shortening lead times, and making a positive impact on indoor air quality. The technician will work in a team-oriented production environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in assembly while adhering to safety standards and contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform basic math and read measurements (inches and feet)
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Fine motor skills are required for a variety of functions, especially for wiring components and performing detailed assembly tasks
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. For items over 50 lbs., an assisted device or help from a coworker is used
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to understand issues, problems, and opportunities and make timely, sound decisions
  • Take responsibility for decisions and understand the impact and implications of decisions and provide feedback as necessary
  • Communicate with other employees and customers, perform an assortment of administrative tasks, and have personal management skills
  • Possess advanced customer service skills, the ability to develop professional relationships with customers and employees
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and exert high effort and focus on very busy days
  • Must be able to make sound decisions and remain calm under high pressure situations
  • Must continually identify personal knowledge and perspective gaps and self-educate

Responsibilities

  • Assemble residential ERV units accurately and within established lead times
  • Inspect work to ensure quality standards and procedures are met
  • Use hand and light power tools safely and effectively
  • Apply job knowledge throughout the entire build process
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with teammates
  • Take initiative to solve problems and suggest process improvements
  • Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Be reliable, punctual, and fully engaged during scheduled work hours
