About The Position

The Manufacturing Applications Specialist is responsible for creating production ready print files, developing and maintaining the Sign Builder user manual, and collaborating with various departments including graphic design, manufacturing, and the MSI technology group. This role ensures that print files are ready for production processes and contributes to the continuous improvement of the Sign Builder application.

Requirements

At least 3-5 years prior experience with MSI-Sign Builder application
Proficient in software programs including Microsoft 360, Adobe Illustrator, Gerber Omega
Must be able to collaborate and work well within a team environment.
Above average multitasking and prioritization skills
Above average problem-solving skills, ability to think outside the box
Consistently accepts responsibility and meets deadlines, ability to achieve results when confronted with obstacles.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain Sign Builder Database for graphics and custom layouts.
Develop Sign Builder templates within MSI manufacturing databases that will allow the print files to be print ready for production processes.
Collaborate with the manufacturing department on orders that are ‘pain points’ and assist in file creation/development.
Create MSI User Manual for Sign Builder application which will be utilized in all global manufacturing facilities.
Update and maintain Sign Builder User Manual per technology release.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Graphic Design, and MSTG to aid in development testing of new application releases.
Utilize knowledge of Sign Builder and application processes to offer continuous improvement suggestions to ensure manufacturing synergy.
Responsible for timely and accurate project completion.
Responsible for storing and maintaining Sign Builder design files according to established retention criteria.
Fully understands MSI products and procedures.
